CORALS AND THE RED SEA

For the first time in Hurghada, the government decided to take some serious measures to protect the corals of the Red sea and the environment. For the fist time and starting from February, it is not allowed to use the plastic bags in Hurghada. The government has issued this law to protect the corals for they found that the plastic bags are one of the reasons of the corals death as the wind sometimes carries it away to the sea. These plastic bags get stuck to the corals and derive it from getting the sun light which causes its death. Millions of tourists come to Hurghada each year to enjoy snorkeling and diving where they can see the beautiful fish which swim near the corals. The fish takes the corals as a shelter the sea currents and a place for catching food. Of course, this indicates that there is a big need to keep the biological system intact.
